Palermo tour by AIR
WHEN: Saturday 03/10 and Sunday 04/10 (tours can alos be available on Friday 02/10 afternoon)
WHAT: Experience the city from above aboard a four-seater Piper, departing from the Aero Club Palermo in Boccadifalco.
This familiarization flight includes a 20-minute overflight of Palermo and a visit to the historic airport, named after Commander Beppe Albanese, whose name is linked to the legendary Giro aereo di Sicilia.

Twenty minutes between take off, flight, and landingflown by highly experienced pilots, following the route of the first flight accomplished by pioneer Clemente Ravetto.
Just as Ravetto—a Piedmontese pilot trained in France and later settled in Palermo —started the engine of his Voisin on May 1, 1910, picked up speed, and rose into the sky, completing the first flight in Southern Italy, passengers will have the opportunity to experience the same thrill.
The 20-minute experience includes take-off, flight, and landing, conducted by highly experienced pilots, following the route of the first flight accomplished by pioneer Clemente Ravetto in 1910.

WHAT: A guided tour of the historic center of Palermo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including a tasting of typical local products.
Note: Any other entrance fees to museums or churches will be paid on site.
